Since 1982, the JCC Maccabi Games and Artsfest have been providing Jewish teens, ages 13-16 (by July 31, 2020),with a life-shaping experience based on Jewish values and healthy competition. Teens also participate in Olympic-style Opening Ceremonies, a day of Tikkun Olam, as well as celebratory parties each night.

The JCC Maccabi Games® are an Olympic-style sporting competition held each summer in North America and is the second largest organized sports program or Jewish teenagers in the world. Over 3,000 teens, ranging from 13 to 16 years of age, participate in the JCC Maccabi Games® each summer.
Jewish teens between the ages of 13-16 as of July 31, 2020 can participate
All athletes/artists must identify with being Jewish.
Yes, there are expenses such as registration fees, uniform costs, games cost, travel, trading pins, housing, meals and evening programs for this national program.
Yes, all Maccabi athletes/artists will have the opportunity to fundraise and assist with the total cost of the games.

No, athletes/artists are only permitted to participate in 1 sport/art program. There are 2nd chance sports/activities once the team or individual’s medal advancement opportunities are done.
The host community arranges for housing for all athletes and artists throughout the week
