The Brooke Bennett Swim Academy (BBSA) is teaching swim lessons at the JCC on the Cohn Campus. Brooke Bennett is known for being one of the most elite swimmers in the US. Brooke won her first gold medal in the 800 meter freestyle at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games at just 16 years old. Brooke continued her success at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, winning TWO gold medals.
Now Brooke is pursuing her passion to teach children how to swim and be water safe.
The BBSA course is designed to allow the student, parent and instructor to be involved in the learn-to-swim progress. It is a progression based program using the BBSA swim book for every child in the program.
